These are the house rules for Kosher Grocery Comparison. By using the site, you’re fine with them. If you’re not, please don’t use it. “We” means the site.

What this site is

We compare grocery prices that kosher stores show on their own websites, and we add up a cart at each store. We are not a store. We don’t sell food, deliver it, or take payment. You order on the store’s own website, and that store’s prices and rules are the ones that count.

We are not part of these stores, and they didn’t sponsor or approve the site. Store names and logos belong to the stores. We show them so you can tell whose price is whose.

Prices

Prices are copied from each store’s website about once a day. Some come from receipts shoppers upload. They can be old or wrong, they can differ from the price in the store, and they don’t include delivery fees, tips, tax, or deposits. A sale may need a minimum or end soon. Always check the price at the store before you buy.

Matches between stores (other brands, pack sizes) are made automatically and can be wrong.

Your account

You don’t need an account. If you make one, use a real email, keep the password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is in your account. You can delete the account any time in My account.

What you send us

When you upload a receipt, send a list photo or voice note, share a list, or use the contact form, you’re saying you’re allowed to send it. We use it to run the site, for example to read a receipt and show those prices to everyone. Please cover card numbers and other private details on receipts first. Anyone with a shared-list link can see that list.

Please don’t

Don’t copy the site’s data with a scraper, try to break in, overload it, or sneak around its limits. Don’t upload fake receipts or wrong prices on purpose, and don’t use the site for anything illegal. We may slow down or block use that hurts the site or other people.

It’s free, and prices can be off

The site is free. We try to keep it useful and running, but we don’t promise it will be perfect, complete, or always up. If a price here is wrong and you pay something else at the store, that charge is between you and the store.

Changes

We may change the site or this page. If we do, we’ll update the date at the top. Using the site after that means you’re fine with the new version.
